can anyone tell me where to get this style hinge?

i have them on my 2004 Lund Alaskan

looking for about 3 feet in length

I know that Lowe's and Menards have them (At least the ones here in DeKalb, Illinois do). Make sure you get the stainless steel ones. I made some additional storage on my boat using the exact same hinge style.

does the hinge you speak of drop down and receive a 3/4 inch board? like in a L shape on both ends?, i have seen some at Menards and they were not like this

I think if you check cabela's online, you might find them there, or possibly do a search of boat supply stores (like Boat US?) or west marine. They might have it.

Your correct they were not offset, they flat. Sorry for the confusion, good luck with the hinges. sounds like some good sources were mentioned
