Posts: 921 Location: Apollo, PA | I notice that everyone seems to be selling their glide baits lately. I know, that i too have sold a couple HR's to pay for engine repairs, but it seems that some are just unloading........ Is it a lack of action for some, or ???? Just thought i would ask. thanks PS ![]() Edited by Pikiespawn 10/24/2006 6:58 PM

Don't wonder, take advantage. I sold almost my entire HR collection to pay unexpected debts. Now my glider collection is 95% Beav's Baits. This happens every year at the end of the season. Gliders, cranks and more. Don't look a gift horse in the treble hook. Beav

Posts: 921 Location: Apollo, PA | Beav, I agree, i have kept my favorites and baits with teeth holes. Some bait shop HR's bring alot of $. Surprises me somewhat. I'm not complaining, but it seems rather weird. PS ![]()

Posts: 8831 | I'm unloading a bunch of stuff at the end of the season, many of which will be gliders. Why? I just have too many! There's nothing wrong with the stuff I'm selling, some of it is new. When you get to the point where you could throw a different lure every hour for the whole season and still have lures you have not yet used its time to thin the herd and spend that money on oh, I don't know.... A BOAT? ![]() Gliders have a time and a place, but you don't need dozens of them.

Posts: 474 | You thought that was bad then the HR on ebay with "Reeds" on it went for $140+, I dare not look back to see what it ended at. I am sure that is a collector. I have been selling too. they look nice in the box but have not produced enough for me to justify the big collection that I had. Bottom line I got my favorites thats what I throw so thats what I catch my fish on, no mystery there. Kevin

Posts: 921 Location: Apollo, PA | Yeah Kevin, I lucked out on that one. If a guy has a tackle shop HR and he wants to sell it, ebay is the place to go. It beats listing it for what you paid and having 5 guys try to beat you down. I am not unloading all my glide baits, i have a ton, probably more than i or my boys will fish and i'm selling a few to get some boat repairs, For the record, i have caught some nice ski's on Hr's and other gliders. I like them and probably fish them more than i should. I also seem to have an addiction to most musky baits. When i look at my office walls, i sometimes just laugh. Best, PS
