| I have seen some good deals, so is there anything good or bad about them? |

| Zack:
I have not heard anything bad about them, I heard from salesman a few years back that they were smokercraft or sylvan factory seconds that link brothers were buying, repainting and calling northwoods.
Good luck

| They are entry level aluminum boats. Northwoods are not seconds, they are private label boats built by a major boatbuilder originally for Link Bros. They are available in many dealerships today. |

| Thanks alot. Steve, by entry level boats does that mean less quality? Would they be rougher or less stable than a small crestliner or sea nymph? |
| |
| The quality will not come close to a Crestliner. The aluminum is a much heavier grade in the Crestliner, and also in the Sea Nymph in certain models. If I was looking for a 'deal' on an aluminum boat set up for Muskies, I would buy a Crestliner. Call John Tibbet at 815-963-1105, let him know you spoke with me here, and see what he can do for you. He also carries Sylvan. (Rockford, Il)[] |

| Alright, thank. I will probobly check it out sometime. |

| I have heard good and bad about them. Do a search on lake-link and I think you will find a bash thread or two there. |

| Zach, if you are looking for a boat with pedastals and a floor, there are some older tuffy ltd's around in the 4-5g range that i have seen around. |

| Northwood boats are almost throw aways of the Smoker Craft and Sylvan Line. All made by SmokerCraft. Northwood boats are price boats only. They have virtually no quality to them at all and resale is the worst of any boat on the market. |
