Posts: 188 Location: Chicago | I have a really good customer I want to take out fishing on the Madison chain. I saw that Travis Richardson is a guide, but he looks like he guides for everything with only a few muskie pics. I know that people are not to solicit business on this site, so if you know a good guide please forward their website to me at [email protected] I appreciate it! Rob

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Rob, Travis is a very good muskie fisherman and guide. Call him and talk to him, he will put you on fish or get you in touch with someone who will. He grew up fishing those lakes all his life. Great guy and very fun to fish with. tell him I said hi.

Travis is good... BUT Jeff Hanson puts 250+ fish per year in his boat...he is on the water for muskies EVERY DAY ! ! Give him a call at (608) 848-3906. Tell him Donnie sent ya...you will have a blast & catch some fish ! ! Donnie

Posts: 103 Location: Land O' Lakes WI | I could second either one of these guys. Travis is well known from his TV show. The need to catch fish for TV makes him a solid performer. No fish, no show. Jeff Hanson has quietly built a great reputation for producing quality fish on all of the Madison waters. He has produced for a long time, building a loyal folowing of clients. Either guide can be a good choice. Mark Gostisha

Posts: 5874 | Everyone mentioned here is a good guy to go with. You wouldn't go wrong with either. Ask them what they like to do, and maybe pick one that suits your style of fishing, or maybe one that does something different from what you do, and learn a new style. One more that I highly recommend is Scott Jenkins. Haven't seen or heard from him for a while, but he is a great guy to fish with.

Posts: 188 Location: Chicago | Thanks to everyone for the responses. I love the way this board shares info! I spoke with Lee and he is going to be in MN when I am looking to go. I left a message for Jeff Hanson. Thanks again!
