Join us for an evening in big fish territory. You will learn from top guide and professional angler Tanner Wildes. Tanner will share his knowledge of the hayward and winter lakes area, flowages and the rivers that breed some world class muskies. Tanner will provide us with a few new tricks, locations and favorite techniques to help catch these fish.

New members coming to the meeting will recieve a free lure.

Our meetings start at 7:30pm at the poplar creek country club, 1400 poplar creek drive in hoffman estates near barrington and higgins road. 847-884-0219. Admission is 3 dollars.

You can also join us at 6pm(can arrive later) for an all you can eat buffet. This month is braised beef brisket with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a tossed salad. It also comes with a soft drink. 8.00 all you can eat and 4.00 for kids. E-mail [email protected] if you wish to dine with us. We will make sure Tanner does not eat it all!

See you there!

I think I would be interested in attending this seminar. Sorry to sound ignorant, but what is FRV? Also, how much is membership and what other activities does the group have?

Thanks.

bwalsh,

FRV is the Fox River Valley Chapter of Muskies Inc.. The chapter has monthly meetings with some great speakers at the map destination that ToddM attached in his reply. "On-the-water" meeting are held during the summer months at an establishment on the Fox Chain. Some other notable activities for FRV are: The spring and fall Challunge on the Chain tournaments (April 30th and Nov. 5th), club outings, awards banquet, and other community-related activities. The chapter is hosting this years Spring International Board Meeting in April as well.

I think our yearly membership fee is $30, but I'd recommend attending one of our meetings to see what they're all about. There's always somebody there who can give you additional information about the club if you're interested in joining. Hope you can make it.
