Location: SW Ohio | I've had one of their rail mounts for the last year for my drifter net. I like it a lot. But you do need to be cognizant of keeping the "puck" down when netting a fish otherwise you can't get it into the holder. |

| I fish by myself a lot. This looks like a great product. Quick question for those that have one. If you have a net and you mount the device to the handle, is your handle now locked in the extended position? I don’t have much room in the boat to leave it extended often. Or can you mount it to the base of the hoop? It looks like the musky net buddy net has solved that. |

You use the net you already have I think. I think you're just buying the hardware that mounts on the net and the track / rails on your boat. |

| In the video, he only demonstrates the model that is built into their nets. But on the website, it shows a bracket mounted on a Frabill. And it shows the bracket on the net with a pin, looks like you just pull a pin to release it from the net. But, that is looking at the pics of the brackets, didn't find a written description. I am guessing you could call customer service and find out what it fits. |

Location: Oconomowoc, WI | Eastman03 - you are correct. If you put the net Buddy on your own net, you’re no longer able to collapse the handle. With their net you are able to extend the handle since the puck is built right in. I bought the net buddy tiger at the Milwaukee show, and I’m looking forward to use it, especially when solo fishing. |

Location: SW Ohio | ^^^ Ditto. But, I can take my handle off the basket on my drifter then put it back on. I do this to load the net in the back of my truck. Otherwise, the handle stays on al the time. |
