We started a list the other day of waters we have fished together. We first met here on MuskieFirst, and first fished together with my son Jon and Sponge Bob at Cave Run. Since they we have attended First functions in Rhinelander and LOTW, among others. Here's the list we have so far, still a few years left for more. m

Kentucky: Cave Run Lake, Licking River

Ohio: Salt Fork, Leesville, Piedmont lakes; Little Muskingum River

Indiana: Webster Lake

Minnesota: Cass Lake, Big lake, Plantangenet Lake, Mille Lacs Lake, Independence Lake, Rebecca Lake, Minnetonka lake, Lake Vermilion

West Virginia: Lakes – Stonewall, Stonecoal, Stevens, Woodrum, Summersville; Rivers – Buckhannon, Kanawha, Little Kanawha, Ohio, Hughes, Middle Island, New, Gauley, Buffalo Creek

Wisconsin: Palmer, Tenderfoot, Fishtrap, Horsehead, Little Horsehead, Three Lakes chain, Pewaukee, Julia, 7 Mile, Kentuck

Ontario: Miles Bay, Sabaskong Bay

Wow... I never thought about doing a list. Must say, yours is pretty impressive!

Let's try this:

Indiana: Webster, Barbee

Kentucky: Cave Run

Illinois: Shabbona, Marie, Fox Lake, Channel, Catherine, Grass, Nippersink, Pistakee, Heideke

Wisconsin: (here's where it starts getting difficult) Silver, Twin Valley, Geneva, Oconomowac, Okauchee, Pewaukee, Monona, Mendota, Kegonsa Waubesa, Wingra, Namekagon, Garden, Presque Isle, Little Presque Isle, Armor, Van Vliet, Crab, Horsehead, Circle Lily, Little Horsehead, Harris, Katinka, Oxbow, Nancy

Canada:
Eagle, Ord

I'm sure I missed a few, but those are the ones I can think of. For musky fishing anyway. Can't imagine the lakes I've fished for other stuff.

Wow. You ever wonder how many days you've spent musky fishing? Gotta be a couple hundred at least. Add in other fishing and I think I'm into the thousands.

I still recall the conversation I had with you and Mauser in the motel parking lot at the Rhinelander outing as you two were ready to head home. I think I still have the homemade bucktail that Mauser gave me.
As far as lakes fished; about 20 years ago, during a boring winter weekend, I sat down with a map and started making a list, Being a compulsive exp[orer I totaled over 340 lakes (not all for muskies). I was fortunate growing up to have parents who liked to fish. Since then I'm sure I've added a couple dozen more.

I was also fortunate to have folks who fished. My dad was from Mpls and he married a lady from Knoxville. North in the summer, south in the winter "to visit relatives". One of my first memories is fishing with my dad and Howard Baker, SR on Norris Lake TN New Year's eve. As I was later told, they had two boats and would start fishing on opposite ends of a cove, meet in the middle and exchange a paper bag, then fish back over the other's path. I do recall dad keeping a 'church key' in the boat and opening the opposite end of the beercan when he was through to sink it. m
