Location: Milwaukee, WI | So I’ve watched several videos on colors of braid. Since muskies look up and to the side for the most part to feed it was noted that darker colored lines show up more than lighter colors in clear to clear ish water. Bass guys are mostly for shades of green due to blending in with the surroundings. Any opinions or line color preference for different applications?? |

Location: oswego, il | Interesting but I too don't think it matters, people are catching musky everywhere using braid. I suppose if I was worried I would use invisibraid since it is white. |

Location: Hayward, WI | I don't think it matters. I usually use something greenish or brown because... I dunno I suppose most lines are that color and it looks more "classic " to me. I know a good fisherman that was using lime green last time we fished together.
I don't think they care. They aren't a mid winter bluegill that studies the bait before eating (and even in that case I use colored mono and do fine).

Location: Madtown, WI | I go with 100# white power pro with flouro leader on bucktail rod, it makes the most sense to me and at least it doesn't bleed on the carpet. Does it really matter? Probably not. |

| Go with whatever color you want all over your hands for the first few days after you change the line. I figure once the color fades out it's all pretty much invisible against the background of the sky anyway. Considering the fact that they still eat lures with hooks and tinsel and weird colors you never see in prey, I don't think line visibility matters. |

| Green suffix works fine for me. But that's al I use. Some will disagree but I use clear fluorocarbon leaders at ~ 16", 100 lp test, perhaps it only matters to me but I Like the invisibility factor of clear fluorocarbon leaders. Plus I really don't care if a pike, walleye or big bass takes the line. Walleye are a line shy. |
