I hope to sneak away for a half day this weekend and get to pewaukee lake. With mom in the hospice home I've not gotten out since the eagleriver tournament and am suffering from musky fishing withdrawal very badly. Since I'll only have a few hours thought I'd check on how things are there.

And congrats to Tony on his 50. hope he saves some for madison.

Don,

Haven't been out in over a week. But, I did hear that some fish were caught trolling earlier this week. Cold front and strong East winds starting yesterday will make it a little tough for a while, I would think.

Mikie, get a hold of Mike Koepp, tell him to send you some copies of my paper. Some pictures of the fish you and your son caught are in this weeks issue.

Mikie, got some of the papers saved for you. Rod puts out a great informational paper. Lots of fishing reports from some great sticks. Keep up the good work Rod. See you soon mikie !!!

Don the muskie bite has been very good this month, the storms have pushed lots of the fish deep. The best method is trolling outside the breaks. Casting has not put fish in my boat since the end of June, since then trolling has caught all the muskies. This is a tough lake with lots of preasure. Knot to mention all the floating weeds that make trolling a lot harder than some lakes. Give me a call or e-mail me and I will put you on some fish. I just got home from a trip to the UP with Dave J so I don't know when you posted this, I have not checked out the board for 5 days.
