According to Tony Schumaker on Channel 9 every month of 2003 has been cooler than average. We are near normal for rainfall.

About the wettest summer season on record for the mid Atlantic region. Not to fear, Christmas is near!:O

I will take all the mild summers I can get. Give me 72-73 degree water temps in late july through august. Please, please, please no water clarity ruining, fish shutting down heat waves. Last year was great, we had many 80 some degree days but no long periods of really hot weather. Made the summer daytime fishing good.

I second ToddM's post. This time of the year I liike to see cold fronts on Wednesday that bring the night time temps to the low 50's or upper 40's for a couple nights. Guarantees a topwater shallow bite ( 72 degree water) all summer up here.

I think this year is on the weird side. The millfoil on tonka is a month behind. It's so weird not being able to see the weededge. We've been seeing a ton of fish with few biters this year. I guess with the weeds down, the fish don't have as many places to hide.

Northern MN has had beautiful weather this year - it's been a little cooler than average, but that's the way I like it.

Unnatural. My neighbor put a bunch of those Pink Flamingos in his yard, along with some of those Plastic Palms. The funny thing is, he didn't know it was going to rain.........................
