My next net will be "drifter tackle predator" very well made light weight.

big kahuna ... huge livewell for caught fish, doesn't split fins and tangle like smaller nets..people complain about the weight? Its 6.5 lbs...if you cant lift that with one arm.. might want to hit the gym

I too am looking for a new net and was set on a Frabil 8425.

Can I ask why you guys are recommending the Drifter Predator over the Frabil (Standard w/power catch, heavy treated bag, #8425)? I am not seeing a difference other than that the Drifter is harder to locate and even more expensive?

Feedback is appreciated.

Thanks and have a good day.

I like the lokie. You will have to replace it every few years if you net every fish. However it is the lightest most fish friendly net. Won`t last a decade like Frabil but I only net a few fish a year.

Go to musky show look at them compare them decide for your self. I've had my Beckmen for 15 years still going strong. But as of now when I replace it the predator is what i will be buying

Justin,
The big kahuna is what we have now & my wife is turning the big 50 this year and she fishes we me on LOTW for weeks at a time sometimes so that net is getting a little heavy for her now especially when you get a big girl in it !!
