The Revo Toro NACL seems to be very popular, seems even more so than the "old" gray ones.

From what I understand, the NACL is more corrosion resistant for salt water. It also appears to have better handles. Is there anything else that makes the new NACL's better than the older reels?

The power handle on the NaCl is slightly longer when you use the second setting, making it easier to retrieve 10s on the 5:4:1.

The best all around Revo Toro would be the 5.4:1 if you can find them..

I've used both and what I believe is that they are both great reels. The only difference I can see is that the NACL just looks way cooler. We are all guilty of buying stuff that looks cool even if it doesn't work any better. Yea, the handles are a little nicer on the NACL but that's about the only thing.

Thanks guys. I think a better handle is enough reason for me to buy a NACL rather than the older gray reels. May be just me, but I feel like a good handle can make a big difference at the end of the day, especially with hard pulling baits.

Thanks for the input.
