Posts: 956 | There great if your fishing for Salmon, but other than a glow stripe down the back on surfacebaits or a glow blade on bucktails for night fishing, I never done much with them for musky.

Posts: 385 | Personally I have had good success with glow baits at night and in muddy water. Two of my most productive night baits are a spinnerbait with glow blades and a large black bucktail with a swatch of glow tape on the blade. To each their own I guess. I recall losing a very large musky on a figure 8 just after a guide who was fishing with me bashed me for throwing the glow. Throw the Glow!!!!!!

Posts: 188 Location: Madison, WI | I like the big Glow Bulldawg during the day but not at night - in both clear and stained water. I've caught muskies on glow tail Black Dawgs after dark but the total glow seems to be too much. Craig

Posts: 2384 Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | Glow should be more of the secondary color or as an accent rather then the base color. It's too much, especially at night. Just throw a couple small strips on a lure and it'll probably help in stained. I'm still learning how best to use it at night.

Posts: 2059 Location: Belgium | I believe large glow spinnerblades would work on bucktails I have some shads, twistertails and squid-tail spinners thazt I made which have glow components but I haven't caught more or less on them than on regular baits.
