Posts: 750 Location: Minneapolis, MN | Are they really worth it? Are they really needed? I'd have to buy a new setup for them and I'm wondering if they really produce that much more then the Mag sized baits from TI and MI or the regular Medussa.

Posts: 1360 Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I had all the same questions you did. I bought my first pounder this year. I still have not thrown it. but I bought one. I decided it was needed and worth it after seeing that Roger Ecklund fish that was caught from Hammernick's boat on Mil Lacs last season. Other than that though...? Is it worth it to spend $400 on a new set up so you can buy 5-10 $35 baits. Sounds crazy when I type it out and read it. But we as musky anglers do a ton of other things that are just as weird or illogical., but hey... look on the bright side, it's not like they made a two pounder yet....... oh wait.....

Yep, $11.99 is our liquidation special for the MegaD Pounders (Heavy and Shallow). Selling them until they are GONE! Nothing wrong with them, just don't sell a lot of them and they take up a lot of room. I have a 30' wall 7' high full of shleves just devoted to holding the 84 SKUs of MegaD pounders I have right now. I could put a LOT of other products in that same space that would sell a lot better. Buy em up! When they are gone they are gone. http://www.tackleindustries.com/pikeswimbait.html Thanks, James

Posts: 1906 Location: Oconto Falls, WI | The magnum sized Hardhead (also known as a Buckethead) is well worth it! Last fall it is the only artifical lure the fish wanted for me. I would change to the large sized hardhead and not get a sniff. Put the Buckethead back on on the fish were all over it.
