So after drooling over my friends tranx I couldnt stop thinking about how much nicer the rubber handle/knob was on that reel. The curado one is more round and not so ergonomic. Does anyone know if these are swappable?? I know the Curado is weighted and the tranx is not but that is as simple as paying attention to where the handle is positioned before casting.

If not swappable is there any "custom" handles on the market?/ i googled and found nothing.

He has pretty much every power handle out there. If the tranx handle doesn't fit, I'm pretty sure the tn12/14 and 700bsv handles do. I put the tn12/14 handle on a toro hs and it's an awesome handle. Should match up well with your curado. It's a little over 1/2" longer than the stock toro handle, and he adds an extra large counterweight.

Esox Addiction,
Give Smokey's Muskie Shop a call at (262) 691-9659. I just started manufacturing a new, double paddled power handle I call the Super Cranker. It is currently available at Smokey's, and I have one that fits the 400B and Curado's. It is 5 inches from paddle to paddle and greatly decreases the amount of effort to crank the double tens. Paddles are rubber urethane and very comfortable to use. Handles are made from anodized aluminum. Please PM or reply with any questions.

Great idea! What other reels do you have handles fitted for? I would be interested in one for a Diawa Luna.

Rocko, do you make a handle for the older, Swedish-made abu 7000's?

We do have a handle that works for Daiwa Luna's & Saltist's, St. Croix's, and the Abu 6500's. The "Abu" handle also works for the Calcutta 400TE. I believe the Abu 7000's have a bigger opening and that will take a little research and development yet...

Rocko can you tell us how much these are going for at Smokey's? I'd be looking for 1 for a 400B.
Thanks, John
