Subject: Fox Chain advice

Hey Guys, I was planning on hitting the Fox Chain with the oldman this coming Monday, Has anyone been out there? We plan on throwing half the day for Musky and half the day for whatever is biting. If you have any advice on best tactic this time of year to put some fish in the boat that would be real helpful since we haven't fished the Fox Chain in like 7 years. We will most likely drop off at Barcle Bobs or if you have a better suggestion for Launch by all means I am all ears. We plan on fishing the northern lakes. Thank you for any advice you may have for 2 guys that have not been on the water yet this year.

I caught a 30" pike on Channel lake last week on a slopmaster...did not see a musky.

I was out Sunday. Caught a 31" pike and saw a mid-30's musky. That was on Channel and Catherine. Weather on Sunday drove them deep I think.

We didn't see a thing other than a 40 incher laying in 2 feet of water. We primarily fish shallow. Great day on the water thou as always.

I was out there and they were 51-53. Weeds are coming in nice and we are seeing fish at the edge.

On Saturday the channels got 48 and by afternoon 54 weeds thick and water clear. Maybe to clear. Fish got spoiled easy.
