Will be staying on Whitefish this weekend at brother-in-law's. He is not a Muskie guy so will be no help to me... lol
Anyway... clear deep lake. So I will be fishing low light conditions, long casts, perhaps cisco colors, and the usual areas near deep water. Did I miss anything?

Thanks,
Nick

I believe you can troll there. Check the regs.

Trolling is legal, I've had some sucess with 10" Jakes 80' behind the boat, more action on the NE end. Otherwise, cast the weed bed around where the creek comes in. The lake is 100' ft deep, look for the cisco/white bait balls on your locator.

The usual areas around deep water? You just described the entire lake! There's some docks you could stand on and cast into 60' of water. I'd troll or cast wherever the winds been blowin into. Most of the fish in that lake don't relate to any structure.

I guess I could have been more specific. Bays, points, or where ever the wind has been blowing into will get the food chain started with bait fish. I'll give a report when I get back.
