| Hi, I have an early to mid 90s model abu 6000 I have a couple questions about. It says high speed retreive on it, but I can't seem to find the gear ratio printed on it anywhere. Do any of you know where to look on it or have an idea what the ratio would be for the reel? And, this reel does not have instant anit-reverse so is it possibel to add that to a reel that doesn't have it?

| Most likely it's 5.3 to 1 gear ratio. Yes it's possible to convert it to IAR but not feasible. This would require a new side plate among other parts and would cost darn near as much as a new reel. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | If it is older than 90's, 4.7:1 was high speed. If you give me inches of line per turn of the crank I can tell you the gear ratio. |

From where? The bearing is pressed into the sideplate I would be interested to see this. |

From where? The bearing is pressed into the sideplate I would be interested to see this. Here ya go. $11.74 each.
