| I think if these tree hugging new agers would pull out a Bible + start in the first chapter of Genesis, they would find that GOD Himself ordained the eating of animals + fish after the waters receded from the global FLOOD(Gen.9:3). In fact it was GOD Himself who made garments of skins for the man + his wife, + clothed them, clearly stated in Gen. 3:21. Am I going to jump up + say GOD was wrong for doing this? I DON"T THINK SO!!! I figure if GOD says it's ok, then it's ok...the eating of meat/fish is sanctioned if one chooses to do so + is Creator approved! [:sun:]

Will I be killed and eaten today?I think we must have some compassion for the members of PETA,most of them have been abused by people,and have found the only thing they can trust is animals,as they can't hurt them on an emotional level...............Sad |

| I get a kick out of the way the fish and animals are portrayed as loving, kind creatures. A muskie is a merciless killing machine that will eat anything that is the correct size and moves.
I have seen a doe kick her fawn senseless to keep it away from some corn in a feeder, and have had deer fighting over apples at the tree in my front yard to the point where they wake me up.
Then there is the inexplicable thing with wolves. We have them here again because of the DNR reintroducing them. Folks have wolf sweatshirts, license plates, paintings, etc...and thses things KILL, RIP APART, AND EAT Bambi without any hesitation. In fact, wolves kinda like cute little doggies, too.
I think all the folks who support this mindless drivel need to spend at least one month living off the land amongst the wild creatures. No Wal Mart. No gas stations. No electricity. No running water. And no fast food. Goldenrod only goes so far....[::)] [;)] |

I'm with you Sponge. God told me to make use of the plants and animals and to be their steward. That's what He put them on earth for. And the last time that I checked my list of who's in charge, it wasn't some whacked out animal rights activist.

| In line with Steve's comments....there was an episode in right before I left Montana in June where one of our "reintroduced" cuddly, cute wolves decided to rip apart 23 sheep in one night. One wolf...23 dead sheep. I mean, come on, how many Big McSheep Macs can one wolf eat in a night??? They need to get the animals on a vegan diet too so they don't hurt each other...yeah right.
And whose looking out for the radishes???

PECKER, or People for the ethical creation of kickboxing evangalistic radishes. They figure by developing this strain, the people who currently ruin countless radish weekends by consuming them will have to avoid radishes for fear of dented foreheads, and fear of having to write huge checks ( better known as TIITR-- you figure it out) to the Radish Evangalistic Altruistic Rally, or REAR.

| It's hilarious! I have one question, if PETA is so worried about hurting living things then what do they eat? Air? If they drive a car it might kill a rabbit. I think to make sure they don't hurt any animals we should stick them all in a tiny bubble and the reason it must be tiny is so that they don't waste habitat for animals. Another thing, do people in PETA have houses full of flys, ants, mice and roaches? If they exterminate them it would be unethical. In my opinion they are all hipocrits.
