Day 2 of Operation Muskie included a number of first and biggest fish, including nice 45" and 46" muskies. Everyone's out fishing for more today!

I heard from one of the vets that had to leave early and he had a great time. He had never been muskie fishing before and caught a couple had many follows and learned the figure 8. Thanks for the support.

the vets rolled out for home this morning...thank you to everyone who contributed to help make this event possible once again, you've put "support the troops" into action. it was mentioned at last night's campfire that in 25 years of service one guy has missed 16 Christmases on duty. these are great Americans getting just a small piece of the thanks they deserve.

in a tad over 3 days the vets caught lots of first fish, biggest fish, 2 fish over 50 inches, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 muskies total. that's cool, but numbers don't even begin to describe the feelings of camaraderie around the camp and in the boats each day.

lot more pics in the Operation Muskie thread right here:

I would just like to say thanks to all that helped/donated. I am not a vet, but I have many friends and family who are. I have told them about Op. Muskie and they all think it is wonderful. It hits them right in the heart to hear the amount of appreciation that you all provide for them.
