don't waste your time. the army corp is flushing the lake like a big toilet. Last time I drove past, the water was almost up to the top of the concrete on the east side. you would have to fish from the grass by the playground.....

Thanks for the reply. It saved me a 250 mile trip. I had the itch but I haven't been there in a couple of years and the water is still hard up here.

I'd give it a shot! River muskies really turn on in high water, even + 10ft. They move to the edges and ambush prey.

I believe there was a pretty big fish kill in the spillway a couple years ago - I went down last year and didnt do anything.

That's the same word I've heard (fish kill). Very little action in the spillway for muskie guys. I've never actually fished the spillway, but the guys I know who do haven't had much luck recently. Of course, they are fisherman so maybe they just told me a tale.

Try fish there if you are or close there for a few hours. My first musky came from there but that is a long time ago!
