Random quote: Muskie Fishing is like panning for gold in New York. Hell of a surprise when it shows some color.

Haven't made many baits for quite a while as I have spent a lot more time on the water this year but here's my school of perch - an 8", a 6", and a new 4" Timberwolf Pup. The 4" should be a good spring bait. I started out trying to make a small wood glider with similar action to a baby squirko but couldn't get it right. However the tail fell off during testing and the bait worked great so I was left with a 4" glider. I'll try and get some video up over the next couple of days.

Thanks guys. As far as the baits they are made from poplar. I like using poplar because it provides the best balance IMHO between weight requirements and action. As far as weight the 8 incher weighs 5 oz. the 6 incher weighs 4 oz and the 4 incher weights 2 oz.

I have one of the 6" and they do look awesome in the water, thinking I might have to get one of the 4" and 8" as well. Highly recommend these to anyone!!
