Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | 5/0. Even though all of my commercial bucktails have 7/0 but that’s what most of my customers demand on big bucktails (double #10s and #13s). I personally like the 5/0 as you can get better hookups overall IMO. Although if you set the hook like a mule kicks you won't have a problem with 10/0 but the fish might not be better off for it  I went out once with a really well known guide and when he set the hook the entire boat moved a foot! LOL I about fell on my ars the first time! The guy boats fish for sure and he does not miss many. | ||

I bought about 20,000 for a lure project that I did not go through with so I am "sitting" on them now Good hooks. My project was a double jointed hard swimbait. I like these on my gliders too. The hook points hang outside of the body a little on my homemade gliders. | ||
