I heard that the Formula X baits cannot touch of be stored with other baits. Can they be stored by themself in a Plano style tackle box or will the bait react with the plastic of the tackle box? Thanks, John

Posts: 786 Location: Minnesota | Alone yes but if they touch a "normal" poly bait like a Bulldawg or original Suzy Sucker or even a bass worm they will eat into each other. I think in my mess the formula X won the battle and ate through my other baits. Was a mess and expensive lesson for me at least!!

Posts: 127 Location: Brookfield | I have Dunnwrights and Suzies in formula x and had the same concerns you have. I keep mine seperated from all other baits and even themselves, yes it's a pian in the a$$ but they are worth it. Especialy the dunwrights, they have a great action unlike most other lures on the market and dont break your wallet in $$$$. The Curley Sues rock, one nip of a small Pike doesnt trash the tail. Formula X is way tougher than the other plastics on the market right now with all the China crap floating around. I know alot of people wont agree with me but I would like to see more formula X products on the market. My .02, Nut

Your boat must not have carpet or anything else of value - FX was banned from the bass business about 7 years ago for being a disaster for all parties - customer and factory. Chinese FX for $ 20 a lure has not changed anything - it will still burn a hole through anything that has a plastic - petroleum component in it. There is a reason why these companies all stopped making it - and it doesnt reflect the history of the stuff - a history that is terrible. Toothy Critters are the Best!!

Thanks for the help. I bought a specific box to hold the baits I picked up. Will see how it works out. John
