Normally we stay in Souix Narrows, LOTW at Totem. The kids love the beaches, fishing, etc. And, it's a place where my wife will stay since the cabins have direct tv, housekeeping and massage services. But, it's about the price of a trip to Hawaii! Plus it's a 30 min boat ride to decent musky fishing on the west side of the lake. Any other suggustions such as the Sabaskong area resorts? I know there are tons of resorts on the lake, but I need a place that's chic-friendly for my wife, sister, and mom who also attend the yearly trip. Any place on Vermillion either? Thanks!

Indian Point Camp on Wabigoon might fit your needs. Never stayed, but spent some time talking with the owner. I think one of the moderators here spent a week there not long ago. yep, here's the link: http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=35...
Best of luck!

Canadian Haven Resort in Nestor Falls is an awsome family resort. Great musky fishing within site of the resort. I think the web site is canadianhaven.com. Check them out the cabins are beautiful.

I will second Canadian Haven Resort. I live across from it and can vouch for the quality operation Kathy and Brian run. They have the best rental boats in the area and lots of things for the kids to do. Check it out.

Indian Point Camp is a great family fishing resort, but doesn't have swimming facilities. They do feature a recreation room with TV, and Dryden and all the associated shopping and activities is about 20 minutes away by car.

They are rebuilding several cabins and will be offering more in the way of family activites, too.

Not a great beach, but there is a great dock and water toy system for the kids. Check out their website for details.

Ludlow's Resort on Vermilion is great. Not cheap, but great for the family...if you can get in.
