Stowmaster. Just as good as either listed and it can fold up and be out of the way.

You can't go wrong with either brand. As long as you get one that's big enough for your needs and a treated bag, you'll be happy. I have a Frabill Big Kahuna and have been very happy with it. It's a little big as far as finding a place to store it in the boat. But that's the only down side of it if you ask me. The Power-Lok handle on the Frabills are very nice.

As Aaron said, can't go wrong with either. Not much of a difference between either in my mind. I keep the handle extended at all times on my Beckman so having the Power-Lok feature, for me, is not necessary. If you have limited room in your boat and want to be able to deploy your net quickly, I'd say go with the Power-Lok Frabills. Other than that, get a net that fits your boat and is big enough to handle your dream fish if you're lucky enough to tangle with it.

Oh, and definitely a treated knotless bag is a must. My vote is for the Beckman Fin Saver, but simply because that's the only net I've owned and it has yet to fail me (though, the giant sweet spot of the Kahuna is awesome too).

Frabill, support those who support Muskie fishing! Frabill is very involved in promoting the sport of Muskie fishing, and also builds the best net out there for the buck.

May be it would be a good Idea to stay with frabill then. My one in the past worked great just thought there might be something else out there .
Big kahuna is the best option?

I just bought a Frabil Big Game net (one step down from the Big Kahuna). Looks like it's going to be a great net to me. I'm sure Beckman nets are really nice too, but it looks to me like hooks might tangle worse in the netting to me.

I hear Stowmasters are nice, but as far as stowing them what is the advantage other than when you are not fishing? If I'm by myself there's no way I'm going to have the net in the stowed position.

I'm planning to leave the Frabill fully extended and locked when alone too, even though the Powerlock is really nice.

I love my Frabill big game, and everytime I net one by myself with it I thank God (and Tony Grant for talking me into buying it!). m
