| Anyone have any place online or in the Chicagoland area that has good deals on marine/boat carpet? The "Shine Box" is in need of some love. |

| Lowes. They carry a marine backing carpet that has always worked well for me. That plus some Henry's Outdoor Carpet glue and your set.

Location: Davenport, IA | Bass pro sells it, at least online they do. I ordered their midgrade carpet and by the picture tried to find the best match for what came with my boat. Somehow it ended up being the exact same carpet. |

| Boat U.S. or West Marine usually carry some. Kendor on Ryan Road south of Milwaukee has a large supply on hand. It's only a bit out of the way on the ride to/from the new Cabela's in Richfield.

Location: Rhinelander | Fleet Farm stores in northern/central WI have a decent marine backed carpet and a good price and a few colors for the folks up here. But don't confuse with farm and fleet-not sure about them. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Be sure not to stretch this carpet, it will ruin the backing. Just lay it and glue it down. m |

Location: Columbus, Georgia | I took delivery of my Crestliner with the Northwest Package (vinyl) option. The decks are a snap to restore to factory condition and I have not found any slippage during wet conditions. The carpeting I have seen on almost all boats after a couple of seasons looks somewhat ratty, and it would appear that coffee stains are almost a right of passage on carpeted boats.
Has anyone else out there purchased boats with vinyl covered decks?
