Oh yeah!!!!!! I hear ya. Basicly the same here in Madison, but instead of 3 feet on the boat I have 10 feet by 5 feet blocking mine. 40s for a few days and some time with the hose hooked to my sink should take care of that though.

There's even a chance I'll get Mauser on the water next weekend. It's been too long, buddy!

I can't wait to try out my newly remodeled BassTracker, check it out!
Before, during, and after. m

Like the left side cut out by the raised platform for the rods. Looks like you did a good job.

Thanks, guys; yeah, some of it was really scary. I have dry storage under the hatch (a big Rubbermaid tub) and a cooler under the deck seat. I built up the rear driver's seat to see better over the bow, should make those river trips a bit safer. We have high, muddy water right now, hope it settles down a bit. m

Wow Mikie, thats one heck of a job. Seeing that Bass Tracker brings back a lot of memories of the countless hours that my brother and I spent bringing ours back to life. I thought we did a good job with ours but your craftsmanship puts what we did to shame. I wish we still had that boat. Aside from the motor troubles it treated us pretty well. I don't think I will ever forget that night that we had on Pewaukee. Aside from the little flagpole incident(I still haven't been able to live that one down by the way) it was a complete blast. Are you still planning on making the trip to Pewaukee for the opener? If you come up are you bringing the Tracker?

"BLING!"
"That would be the sound of a muskie bait hitting a flagpole at dark!"

Eric, we had a blast with you, your hospitality was amazing. We're gonna try to make the opener, all it takes is the time, money, and inclination. Right now, it's 2 for 3 so we're working on it. I don't want to bring my big boat up just for a day or 2 so it's either bum boat rides or bring the Tracker.
Thanks for the compliment. I'm real pleased so far with how it worked out. I was tellin folks I had about $650 into parts, materials, and labor (carpet installer), but then the electric bill came in and with the power tools, heaters, and opening the garage door 500 times, well, add another hundred. Like I told me wife, they sell new ones for $10K, so it's still a bargain. The only thing I didn't add was the rope lights; your work on your boat was certainly an inspiration to me. m
