At 4:40 this morning, weighing in at 7lbs 1oz., our granddaughter, Samantha Nicole came into the world. Sue and I were there for her birth and needless to say we are elated! I want to thank all of you, who were at the show for putting up with my nervousness and giddiness while I was on baby-watch. All of you shared in our excitement and I am forever grateful. Pictures will be forthcoming.

WOW thats calling it pretty close to the Muskie Show. There was a reason why your wife didn't make it to the show. I hope that your grandson is OK with another "ester" in the house. :~)
From talking to you at the show I felt that a boy would of helped even out the score, but you got to be happy with a healthy grand daughter.

Congrats, Grandpa! I remember when my 2 girls were born, thinking each time "7# and little....geez, I've caught walleyes bigger than that!" Hope she likes fishing with Grandpa!
