| 8-15. Our 18'5" Crestliner has a 9.9. Allows us on 10 HP lakes and anything else under 135...
I'd say 9.9 is probably good all around, might vary based on how much trolling you do or what kind of HP-limit restricted lakes you fish. |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Thanks....that's about what I thought.
I notice there are long and short shaft models....I'm guessing I'd be needing the long shaft for my sized boat? |

| 9.9 longshaft will be the right size for the 619. If buying new, I'd get the Pro Kicker. Otherwise yu'll need to spend $650 on a Panther lift. You'll be better off getting the best kicker made, with all the features standard. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Hey, I have a Merc 15hp four stroke kicker with tilt, controls and cables at a very good price, extremely low hours, too. |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Thanks for all the info. I can't afford to buy new so I'm scoping some pre-owned units on E-Bay...9.9s longshaft for under a grand. |
