Was any one else lucky enough to get out. It sounded like the weather west of us was pretty nasty. All we got was some rain and high winds Friday. Sunday was a bit colder than it had been for the previous week.
I was able to get my first Muskie while jigging and I owe 2 people a "Thank You"
First is Mike Hulbert for introducing me to Fuzzy Duzzit's.
The second thanks goes to John at Stealth Tackle for giving away a leader to all that attened the PI Outing.
Up until yesterday I hadn't used the leader, I was using my standard straight wire leader and hadn't had any luck. Then it struck me that I had a Fluorocarbon leader from Stealth Tackle so I tied it on and you can see the results. I just wish I would have thought about the leader earlier in the day.

Nice fish Rich! Beautiful markings.
(Those release tools come in handy? I'm still gonna fly!)

I got out, but not for muskies, had to put some crappies on the table...
Water temp was 39 yesterday, so I have a few more days I suspect.

Nice catch Rich, chunky!
Muskie fishing is so last week :P BRING ON THE ICE.
No fishing for me this weekend. I did get alittle more acclimated to the cold weather. Sat in Solider Field for 3 hours while watching the bears defense and special teams bet up the Vikings!! Grossman 1.8 QB rating FTW!!!!

Fished the Delaware River right before the big front blew through. Not much for numbers seen but got a chunky 39" on a Musky Treat. The rivers temp was actually 51 degrees. Should be in the high 30's this time of year. Hopefully the colder weather will bring the temps down.

Nice fish Rich. I put my boat away for the season, and got the snowmobile out. We got about 14" of snow on Friday.
