The chain is doing Ok, there are windows when the Muskies feed really good, but there short. Suckers in deeper water have taken some fish, also jigging and trolling in water 10 fow and deeper. I was out on saturday and moved a couple fish casting and boated 2 trolling, not very big 34 and 35.5, the muskies hit after moonset. the lakes are 2 ft down. The clarity is murky and clearing back up.

Good luck

Was on the chain today. Water temps were 38 to 40. Be careful going into Catherine, the water is real low by the sandbar, had to tilt the motor to get over it. Snagged a 3o" carp trolling Marie. Had a mid 30's northern take a swipe at a trueglide hustler at boatside. By end of day surface temps were 42. Nothing on suckers. Water clarity not that good. Talked to Tom at Barnacle Bobs, the metal piers will be removed at the end of the month. He will be leaving the wood piers in. Also,be careful when you leave channel from Petite going into Fox. Sarge

I got to fish the Fox Chain for the first time today with my buddy Chris Riebe. There are some very kind anglers up there even for how crowded it was. Every one left plenty of casting room and we got to talk with a coulpe guys about current patterns. We boated 2 muskies (30&32) trolling a wide spread on a deep break line. We caught one next to a guy in a tuffy that was super nice. He pulled up and talked about how cool it is to watch another boat get one. I will be back again for sure!!
