| Its was only three days with the worst weather the muskie gods could have ever put in front of us, but we had fun and caught some fish. Here is some pics from our trip to the Goon last August.
Photo 1) Worrall thinking....hmmmm Am I on the Goon? or is my GPS wrong.[] [] |

This is the 40lb+ fish that Steve thought for a second ate his bucktail. But it turned out not to be the fish we had seen on the spot, it was his smaller cousin.[;)] |

On the last day in the blistering mid day heat I caught one of the Goon muskies on an Undertaker. Not the fish we were after, but a fun one to say the least.
We had a milk run of some very very big muskies those three days...just could not get them to pop. The day before we got there a good friend got a 52x23 that was a dandy.
Anyone interested in fishing the Goon should check out this site.

| It was so freaking hot that week we had to pour water over our head to stand being out there.
I had a great time anyway, and can vouch for Jason's packing skills...we had goodies enough for a week, and the trip was three days![] |
