What lake would you fish this time of year? Thinking of Green River Lake and shooting down to Lake Cumberland for some strippers too!

Scott,
I'd fish Kinkaid, but that's just me!

I have no experience on green river or buckhorn but i hear both of those lakes are good and both are not too far away for cumberland. If you wanted to get away from the muskie and stripers, head down to dale hollow for some huge smallmouth. that lake is awsome this time of year for smallies and its right beside cumberland.

Good potential until mid December on Green, but water quality and level can become an issue. Cumberland Stripers are available on live bait and probably trolling bite too, but I have not cast for them in winter months.

Strippers and Striper= GREAT TIME!!! Rodney-Got to get away for a weeks vacation. Love Kinkaid, but thought I would try a new challange. What about the cave or smaller rivers???

I'll be at The Cave the weekend of the 10th, if you wanna give it a try. They should be done drawing down water by then and if the weather stabilizes it could be 'on fire'. m
