Location: WESTERN WI | I have noticed that the shrink tubing that is available through Musky Tackle Companies is usually pretty expensive. I am looking for shrink tubing to cover my leader crimps/knots and do a few bait hook enhancements. Any suggestions to what manufacturer makes a reaonable priced shrink tubing? Thanks for the help in advance. |

Location: Minnesota | I use the GB (Gardner Bender) Heat Shrink Tubing. I use the 12-4 AWG and that gets around my #6 triple split rings and shrinks down very nicely.

| Consider Liquid electical tape..........found in Farm and fleet or electrical dept. of any major supply chains. I've used it for topwater tail totating lures and leader's on seven strand for both open water and ice fishing for pike. Can comes with applicator brush in the as part of the can's lid. I've used liquid electrical tape way before shrink tubing came out on Topraider's or Lyle Carlson's Musky Buck bucktails and still to this day prefer it over the shrink tubing. Apply in various coats if you should prefer thicker applications. |

Location: oswego, il | I like the dull colored stuff vs the shiny harder stuff. The shiny harder stuff will melt away and the duller softer stuff will not when heated. I can't seen to find any decent quanities of the stuff excpet on ebay. |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | Any Hardware store, auto parts store or electrical supply house should have it and almost always cheaper then what I have seen available through fishing or boating places |
