| Need someone to toss off the back end of my boat in the strange waters of Dale Hollow, hope to make trip before the water gets too warm and repositions the fish. If you can make about 800 tosses with no bad cursing backlashes and not hang up on every treefall we come to, you will qualify. I will guarantee used water. If you try and poach I will have to reposition the boat, and I am an expert in squeezin the castin water completely out of a 27,000 acre reservoir for a poachin second stick!!!! And don't try the slammin the bait into the back of the head trick, I am VERY hard headed, and a concussion doesn't change my thought patterns at all, or at least that's what the neurologist said.
Oh, and we might have to wear coats, but somebody has to do it... [:sun:] |

| When are you thinking about going and for how long? I'm in Sommerset, Ky and would like to try Dale Hollow once, not too far away. We where by there yesterday. Stripers are biting a little on Cumberland, got four this AM.

| Go Doug! Those southern stripers are a blast, aren't they? If you are in Somerset you are 90% of the way to Dale. I figure you have your heavy tackle with you, too. I'd forgo my shot at this to you, e-mail me tonight and I'll let you know where we put in and trolled. Still hoping to get to LOTW next year. Good luck! m |

| Well...guess that counts me out! I don't meet the requirements![;)] DougJ...any size to the rocks....the average here has been 12-16lbs w/ an occasional 20-30lb thrown in...mostly caught on Poagy/Paddle Tails + 1 biggie on a Rattle Trap. The lake is down 22 ft. exposing flats near the channel + long points...wish we could get a boat in there! Give Dale Hollow a shot![:sun:] |

| Spongy:
Stripers this AM where all in the 10-14 lb range, 29" to 32", must have all been the same year class. Catching them pulling skipjack herring behind yellowbirds and balloons. Had a double this AM, lots of fun. I've caught them here up to 40",(around 30 lbs, I suppose) and there are quite a few in the 30-40lb class caught each year. The real big stripers are in the Cumberland River on the other side of the dam.
FSF and myself are planning to see what the Dale Hollow muskies are all about, probably some time next week.
We're packing Paydays for lunch.
