Location: The Yahara Chain | Does anybody know of a website that offers Canadian moon charts? I just noticed the MH doesn't list anything for Canada. I am looking for the Eagle Lake area(Osbourne Bay).

Posts: 224 Location: Madison | I don't believe phases change meaningfully across the continent - it's new moon or full moon, no matter where in North America you are. You can get specific times on moonrise/moonset and sunrise/sunset from the farmer's almanac. Pick the city closest to where you'll be, and the times will only be off by a minute or two: http://www.almanac.com/rise/locations/index.php I just did this yesterday. Ontario opener, T-minus 10 days and counting. -d

| If you have your latitude & longitude you can get precise charts here-> http://www.sunrisesunset.com/custom_srss_calendar.asp | |||

| You can also get them here- they include the major's and minor's- so you don't have to calculate them, i.e., when the moon is directly overhead or underfoot. It helps if you're a member. http://www.walleyecentral.com/?action=rmblock&block=tenpoundclub Have fun! Al | |||

Location: The Yahara Chain | Thanks guys. Waldo I am just looking for the times. Now that I have the moon and sun times that I need, I am getting greedy. To get the moon over head and underfoot times I need some exact coordinates. Does anybody have any coordinates that are on or near Eagle lake that they could send me? PM them if they are a secret.

Location: The Yahara Chain | Thanks John....very cool. I was able to mark the Island that we are staying on and get the exact coordinates. Sometimes the internet is a very cool place.

Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | BYTOR: You're welcome, I am abe to zoom in right on my house and see the car in the driveway, granted it's not very detailed but cool none the less, Now if only it was detailed enough to zoom in on a structure and see the shadow of a big fish that would be COOOOOL It's too bad that some folks use that site for evil doing as well Edited by JohnMD 6/7/2006 3:15 PM
