Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | Hey guys, I need a new trolling battery, any suggestions on which one to get? I don't want to break the bank but I do want a quality battery.
Thanks again. |

Location: Greenfield, WI | I am well into my 3rd year with my Optima Deep Cycle battery. The use capasity is more than double that of the magnum sized deep cycle batteries I used to get, both between charges and in battery life. You can top off the charge without losing capasity. It is a dry system. In the same time that I have had this battery, I would have bought 3 of the old type. There is more to considering cost than just considering the initial cost. They are available at Batteries Plus Stores. On a 1-10 scale for satisfaction with 10 being very satisfied, I would rate Optima as a good solid 15!

| I have a 24v system with two 3100 Dual Pro batteries and a 65lb Kota. I just got back from Vermilion and went over 3 days without having to charge them and it was windy as hell up there so I was constantly using my TM. They are a little pricey (~250$ per battery) but well worth the cost. I can usually go 3-4 days on these things and not run out of juice. They are absolutely great! |

Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | wow 3 days no charge, my battery now is so old I have to charge it every night. Gander mountain sells the optimas, I'll probably look into those, I think they are around $160 or so, does that sound right? |

| Yeah 3-4 days without charging. It really helps as I camp a lot and don't have access to electric. |
