i would like to use spinnerbaits and bucktails with glowing blades or beads for night fishing, but I am concerned that glowing features will deter strikes.
have any of you caught fish using lures with glowing features visible to the fish?

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | I don't know if they still make them, but Mepps used to offer their Magnum blade in glow. I have caught many fish on them, and not just after dark either. I use them a lot in stained waters also.
I also use Mr. Twister glow tails. I use these probably more than any other color tail behind my bucktails when fishing stained water.
Yes Glow Works!! |

| Please check the series of posts about painting spinnerbait and bucktail blades. I am using "Createx" paints and the colors are absolutely unbelievable. This is a very nice product to use.
Best of luck.

The heads and blades of their Musky Mugger Spinerbait glow. Here is a link to their stuff http://www.ebait.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Cod...
