I am going to hit the water at least once this weekend with Esox69, he's up north and it will be good to shoot the breeze with Steve again. Sue and I will hit Minocqua for combination muskies and 'eyes Saturday morning if the weather suits. I have to be here Saturday afternoon to score the PWT because Zach is MUSKIE FISHING in northern Minnesota.

How about you, what's on the trip planner this weekend?

Heading to LOTW in about 2 hrs. Have not been out since the early part of July. I hope I can get the rust off quick.

I am going to be doing some bait dragging tomorrow with a notebook and a pen to get lots of bait depths for trolling. (hopefully a fish or 2 as well.
Anybody that wants a copy can send a check to me for $100,000

Since i just cant' learn from the past 4 or 5 attempts...i'll once again try to battle w/ the elusive Kentucky River musky, in the Frankfort, KY Metro locks and the ones just south of Frankfort too. I have yet to have a follow, strike or anything there. but i have to go to frankfort a few times a year, so might as well make the most of it. i'm sure i will get skunked again...
Last few times fishing the KY river south of Frankfort, i lauched my boat twice w/o a pug in it, hooked a dead, nasty sheep head, a few shirts, got shook down by the KY conservastion officers...
now it's getting personal. i'll get getting skunked in the river.

Send me a PM, I can point you to a couple spots on the river. They are in there. The key is being in the right place at the right time. The last couple of weeks the river has looked to be in good shape. I cross it every day. I can’t speak first hand for the fishing though. I have not been on it this year.
