| Has anybody been on Holcombe recently? I haven't been there since mid June. I may fish it this weekend if it is not too green already. Last year was terrible and I don't want to waste time if it is super green. I'm hoping the cooler spring and increased rain have helped to slow/flush the bloom. Thanks Jason Malone

| Hi Jason. Was out there last week and the areas we fished looked fine.

| How do you guys like the Holcombe flowage? Do you have much luck there? I have been told that the summer time on Holcombe is really slow for muskies. Is that true? I guess the only thing I know for sure is if you don't go fishing you won't catch anything. |

| Yes, Holcombe gets pretty slow during the summer, it gets very green. Overall its a pretty good lake though. I made it out on saturday and the bloom is starting. Some spots were good, some not so good.

| Malone, I was up to the Holcombe this week end and it is getting pretty green now. I would sure appreciate a couple of pointers on that flowage. I have fished it a few times but have had not even a follow. I am pretty new to this musky hunting. I have seen some jump though I would like to tell you about if you send me an e-mail. Thanks, Brad Larson. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I was there too this weekend and it was getting pretty green, though not as bad as I expected it to be. Boated a 40" fish on a Topraider and a 32" fish on a TM Tail. |
