I was at the Gander Mountain in Wausau last night and was absolutely confused at the Bucher display. It seems as if every style of bait has about three different prices on them. I was able to pick up some Baby Depth Raiders for $5.99, while others were priced as high as 11.99. Shallow Raiders, Depth Raiders, big or small, jointed or straight, all had some wacky prices on them ranging from 9.99-13.99. There are some deals to be had there if you like throwing Bucher Cranks.

Norm,

The reason for the crazy prices is as following: Last year we had no Bucher baits so we got a hot buy from a wholesaler. That is why we were the only ones with baits last year. Then, when we opened the new store we got a partial shipment of DMG Bucher version. Now with Roberts Bucher version, we have new UPC's and prices. It would take far too long to change all of the UPCs and adjust onhands so we are just letting people sort it out and get a good deal while they can. Once the current assortment is gone. It will be back to normal and all be new packaging. Hope this helps and make sure to say hi when you're in!

Justin,
I figured it was something like that, it was just strange seeing all the different prices and packaging on the exact same product. Like I said though, there are some awesome deals in that display!

Is this at every GM in Wisconsin or only in Wausau?

Just in Wausau that I am aware of. We did distribute some of the lures to other stores like Eau Claire but I'm sure they are gone.
