| Has anybody been to Evergreen lately? Even second hand reports would be better than nothing. Might be there next Wednesday. Thad, care to shed any light on this subject? |

I will be putting my boat on the lake for the first time this Saturday.
I have been doing some casting from shore. So far I haven't seen a thing.
I don't think the water temps have reached 40 degrees quite yet.
That seems to be the magic temp to get the muskies up and chasing baits. |

I have a buddy that is going to hop in my old Tracker one last time on Saturday. It will be a very tearful day of fishing for us.
I am planning on attending the banquet, so I will see you and Esox50 there!!
I'm sure I will see you guys out on the water Saturday. We'll probably be the only two boats out there.
Also Jay - who does the work on your outboards? I am looking for someone to do a little tune up on Suzuki motor.

Location: Montgomery,Illinois | I havent been down there first hand but if u check out larrys fishing hole of central illinois they have updated water temps and stuff that could be helpful but they dont have reports besides like ratings on the lake for that week....... I hope that helps

There's 4 places semi-close to me, but very much further for you.
The closest one, and one I will NEVER go to again is Illiana Marine north of Danville (I don't even know why I'm even mentioning it).
The next closest to me is in Greenup Il, about 60 miles south-southwest of Champaign.
The next two are about equi-distance from me at about 80 miles...Pearsons Marine in Monticello Indiana on Shafer Lake (does Indiana Beach ring a bell  ). The have got a top notch mechanic there. It is also where my boat was originally purchased from.
Last but not least is Bob's Marine in Litchfied Il. Probably the fastest one to get to from where you live (right on down I-55) and take Litchfield exit.
I just did a dealer lookup for your area code (Hudson, right?) on the Suzuki web site. It listed Buell's Marine in Canton Illinois. I don't know anything about it, but there phone number is
309/647-3421.

Shelbyville sounds like fun too but not sure if I can do that as well this weekend.
