Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Got out for about 4 hours on Saturday. Zero fish activity but confirmed that all my upgrades work...now if I could just get the rest of my older stuff to work right!
Anyone else get out? |

| I've been on a heater...got some pressured fish fairly dialed in to start the season, been out twice - 8 caught in 4 hours (with a little luck should have 10), 41" average with a couple mid-40" pre-spawn pigs. Who said muskie fishing is difficult? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I taught a couple of classes at the Cap City Muskies Inc Chapter Muskie School. Since I can't put a boat in the water, this was the closest I could get.
It is a great event; if you are anywhere near Madison next March, make your best effort to attend. |

Location: SE, WI. | Muskie season is closed here in Wisconsin. Even when season is first open, skis will be post spawn and difficult to trigger. Currently Getting a few Great Lakes perch, which imo eat second to none for table fare! JD |

| South Dakota's season is always open, but only one lake has a dock in and it's the worst of the 3 by a fair bit. I will hit it up tomorrow, but I am not expecting much after a cold winter and its water levels being ridiculously low. |

Location: SW Ohio | Got out 3 times last week (took a week off from work to get some stuff done including servicing the boat and my bike). First day out was just a check ride and to finish breaking in the kicker. Second time had one unseen follow in muddy water (saw it on the graph as it passed under the boat). Third time bagged a 40" fish in pretty shallow water. Fat girl. Water was only 43* but she hammered a glide bait. |
