They are both good lures, but I’d go Mepps, if I only had one cast. 3 three reasons.
It will cast further once the marabou is wet.
It has a second treble.
The blades will spin every time versus the occasional showgirl that doesn’t want to spin without a having to kickstart them.

Water tamp is the key factor for me. That said it is hard to beat a bare single 7/0 for hooking and landing.

Your trip must be coming up soon to LOTW and Eagle, pikolish. For up here question should be Mepps H210 (3 oz) vs Cowgirl from those makers. H210 if you have to cast into a breeze.
