Location: Oconomowoc, WI | They are both good lures, but I’d go Mepps, if I only had one cast. 3 three reasons.
It will cast further once the marabou is wet.
It has a second treble.
The blades will spin every time versus the occasional showgirl that doesn’t want to spin without a having to kickstart them.

| Water tamp is the key factor for me. That said it is hard to beat a bare single 7/0 for hooking and landing. |
