I'm in the market for a new rod since my fav' one went swimming in october at cave run. I really like my rizzo rod that I have but need a stouter version. any other suggestion for a moderately priced 7.2- 8 ft rod for throwing bucktails and twitchers ? Thanks ManitouDan

You can get the Rizzo Rods at Fleet Farm. They are cheaper there than at R+H. They are called Trophy Tamers now also.

The Sports Authority carries them as well.

I have a 7' medium-heavy action Rizzo that I am retiring because my wife bought me a St. Croix AM70MHF for my birthday. However, it doesn't sound like it is what you're looking for. I used it as a bucktail rod and it served me well.

6` 10" oridginal Rizzo 1pc sounds like the one you are looking for.I think the latest models are not the same as the ones a couple years older! Let me know as I have a couple of them to maybe part with!
