The forecast has snow and temps in the high thirties and MAYBE forty all of this week. Once we pass the middle of November up here a day in the 40's is a treat. I am going to freeze, but am on the water until Rifle season, as I have my archery deer put away. I suppose I could sit for a doe with the stick flinger, if the urge takes me.

Who else is sticking it out to the bitter, frozen, snow crusted end?

I,m done.Cold, miserable weather up north means flocks of ducks down here. I,m off to the duck cabin to kill daffys as my granddaughter says.Hopefully bag a few geese.Hunting is definitely my number 2 thing to do next to Musky fishing, but sometimes you just got to get out, and blast the crap out of something, and ducks seem to do it for me.

I'm in it till the bitter end. The last three years or so I haven't put my boat away until December.

I will be going out untill the ice is too thick to put the boat in the lake.  I've been out in mid to late December the last few years, hopefully this year will be the same.  I still need to catch a December fish though.  Water temp was 50 degrees today and rain, but just had to get out once this weekend.  SKUNKED!

Got my first November fish yesterday (well a rookie I had out with me got it) was a beauty at 48 inches and about 25 lbs. I hope to get out at least one maybe two more times. Dec 15th is the end of the season here but I can't see me out there then. I'll be wearing a sleeping bag in the tree looking for one more late season deer.

November 30th or ice-up will be the only two things to stop me. Hope to hit Silver during the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Fortunately I can almost always fish the WI River till the close and can usually still fish walleyes well into December and January open water.
