 | At least the torrential rains we've had locally the last 2 weeks let me get a few more baits done... Another batch of paddle tails, 10" and 8" versions.

Hope your season is going well so far!

 | Have you thought about painting the soft tail. Lureworks SBCoat works great.

 | Thanks guys! ToddM - Yes, they do! I tried to describe the action in this stupidly long post (you can also see the original wood ones here) https://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=12...

Landry - I have thought about painting the rubber tail but haven't tried it yet. They would certainly look better if I did. Thanks for the heads up on the Lureworks SBCoat I'll have to look at it- is that a water based paint and do you have to clear coat or coat with clear plastic afterward?

Supertroll - Unless me and every other rural Pennsylvanian missed a call to arms and the state was somehow secretly annexed to the EU, I am still from the USA...

 | It is the solvent based paint. Take necessary precautions. It works great if u clean the plastic with isopropyl alcohol or laqquer thinner first
I use the SBCoat clear on top of the paint.
Holds up well and works great.
Your baits look amazing. Great job.
