I got an email from my neighbor on Palmer/Tenderfoot yesterday afternoon... he said it was nasty seeing the white stuff already. I guess the power was out up there for a few hours as well. Good thing I took the boat off the Shorestation monday!

Seems like the snow comes earlier and earlier every year up there, but the winters themselves are getting warmer and warmer. Last year, I had to break ice the last week in October and was ice fishing the third weekend in Nov.

Light snow here this morning too. Lake effect from Superior, looks like. Sheesh.

Notice that Steve's Boat does not appear to have any snow on it, now we know where his priorities are ( Just Kidding ) it's way to early for snow.

Steve- Ha, ha, ha, Very funny pic. Better yet, I can visualize the lake shot! The youngster's were probably sitting inside at the resort's saying to themselves "Who's the crazy btasrad out there?" .

Hope you stuck a hog.

Al

Now it seems we are in for record cold tonight, with a turnaround in the general pattern for next week early. The weekend doesn't look TOO awful bad if you like rain, wind, and temps just cracking 40 degrees..I WILL be muskie fishing if it rains, I will not hunt with a bow in wet weather.

The shot was from the Fish Room at Worrall's Hideout. It was COLD out there, and I was in my skivvies still. The boat had snow on the cap, just can't see it.
