Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Have a great new trailer, but need a new winch for it. Suggestions? And I'd like to keep it at $150 or less.
Thanks! And how do you feel about electric winches? |

| Slamr,
What kind of trailer?
I have a 17ft Deep V and a bunk trailer. I usually crank about 3 times after FLOATING (no power loading) it on.
I'm sure there is a reason, genuinely curious. |

Location: minocqua, wi. | make sure you get the one noted, it has two key important features
1. drivers on both sides of the reel
2. a 3-bolt pattern mount
both of these things ensure it won't torque when pulling ... i had to drill a new hole pattern on my trailer frame base to allow vs. the garbage single driver winch that most boats come with that has the two bolt pattern |

| I installed the Fulton two speed as well. Much much better than original on my Ranger 1880. Bolt pattern lined up for me. |

Location: minocqua, wi. | while you are upgrading your winch, consider some of the new fulton trailer jacks too. i put one on my enclosed ice fishing trailer and it's so nice that i replaced the one on my boat too. it makes it almost effortless. |
